In all reality, why with a 33 / 0 lead and a bulldozer front line is Gil passing instead of running and keeping the clock moving or did True decide to pass ignoring Gil ?
To give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they’re just hoping to pick up a small gain through the air to convert the third-and-five, so that they can then keep the ball on the ground and run out the clock. But yeah, True shouldn’t be trying to get his “sea arm” back at this point in the game. He should try a simple lob to Stebbins (who has a step and a half on the defender) rather trying than to “zing” it.
Quite possibly the new corporate offices of Maris Industries. As Wildcat is entertaining his corporate associates, True’s daddy Art has had one too many and is nose pressing the bullet proof window mumbling, “I coulda been a contenda.”
In all reality , the Sears Tower is now the Willis Tower but most Chicagoans still call it the Sears Tower just like Macys is still Marshall Fields. What you talkin about Willis.
Not likely anyone, or hardly anyone, will see this, but I’ve done MUT for the missing days last week (16th through 20th). You’ll have to scroll down to read up in order (if it even matters).AND, a special bonus, a crossover strip courtesy of “For Better or For Worse”!I’ll post this note in Monday’s comments as well.

Whoa! It looks like Don Stebbins might be practicing that Heisman pose just a little early.
miffedmax about 10 years ago
Small window? Stebbins looks to have at least a yard-and-half on his defender.

Hopefully, Tru(e) doesn’t throw the pick-6 and lose the shutout. (Or could make an interesting storyline)

…beginning to realize we have a lot of Chicago guys on this board, myself included…wonder why?
PS- ranelson43, a relative new comer, called the pick 6 yesterday, i think he’s gonna be proven right!

What is Gil’s left hand up to in P1. Turn your head and cough, Tru.

Late 4th Qtr: Scrubs are brought in; True throws a pick-six. Shutout vanishes.
Mopman about 10 years ago
Definitely a pick-6, Jarrod(e) will then really ream out Tru(e).
