Red's bus should be bringing him home soon. Poor Rover. Red doesn't get out of school for three more hours. Three more hours!! Argg, I've never been a good judge of time. Oh, well. Red's bus should be bringing him home soon.
My Gracie has her own recliner (one I don’t ever sit in) and a nice, soft doggie bed. I’m retired now, but a lady from my work kept her dogs in crates! I think it is an excuse not to house break and socialize them so they don’t tear the house apart! Its really quite mean. Anyway, that is a really cute strip.
I like this comic better all the time. It really does have a feel for how it was back then.I think I was aa couple years older at the time, but like if Red had a sister a couple of years older.Thing is, my childhood seemed more like a boy’s childhood. I just didn’t think of myself as a girl. More like a generic kid.

Well at least he has a couch to wait on; my neighbor keeps her dog in a cage until she gets home.
