Careful there! Too many floaters and/or fireworks in your eyes wihen it’s not July 4th means a visit to the ER for possible retinal detachment. (Ask me how I know.) The small floaters I still have left look like bugs on the counter to me.
I’m very nearsighted, and about 25 years ago I was living in a small urban condo. In dim light, I thought I saw a cockroach walking slowly across the countertop in my kitchen. I smacked it, but it kept on walking calmly along… After a second smack and the same result, I realized it was a floater.
