I don’t get voicemails from the Red Cross asking for an appointment to donate a pint, but I do sometimes get a call from them.
Hmm… my most frequent voicemail starts “Hello, Seniors!” and tells me I’ve won a “free” security system." And then there’s the one telling me that I’ve won a “free” cruise to the Bahamas. Got both of those last few nights.
I’m so glad for caller ID. I find that 99% of the spam callers do not leave voicemail. Saves us both time and frustration.
“courtesy call”? There is such a thing?
If no-one answers after two “hellos” I hang up.
