Wearing my Andy Capp tee shirt to the big Plaza Art Fair today (240 artist booths), to kind of try to class up the place a bit! I’m hoping to see a few classics later and of course “Pogo.”@Number SixI was rooting for Scotland but I had a feeling the no vote would increase right toward the end there. I wonder how soon it would be possible to try try again?

It was tough being the only Yorkshire kid in the Baltimore School system. In 3rd grade, I got jabbed between the shoulderblades. When the melee was over and we’re before the Principal, we were asked “Who started it?”

“’e did! ’e hit me back!”

Okay, off NOW to the Art Fair (it’s considered one of the top ten annual outdoor art fairs in the country, with artists from all over the country, a few even from Canada or Mexico). I’ll try to behave much better than my Andy Capp tee shirt!

@BuggerlugsAnother excellent choice! “Mythillogical” is an incredible word, worthy of Lewis Carroll. I’ve always said that “Pogo” would be worth reading even if you just had the speech balloons and the art was covered up, but the art made it the greatest comic strip ever (or maybe, just MAYBE, mind you, “Peanuts” was slightly ahead…….)
