It is nice to have a fan, especially on a hot day.

My wife does this for me all the time. Yeah right. Gene is quietly appreciative.

Claude and Cleo have taken a detour to Gotham City. Or Hollywood Blvd, perhaps.

    Hi, everybody!/

    I’m back…. didja miss me?

    You… um… well, yes… I was gone.

    Yesterday… remember? …. Sigh…

Anyway… we’re here to comment on

the March 18th  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Which you can find on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

And it’s kind of batty, today.

    I dunno, Dennis… I thought it was Cleveland…

possibly the spring training ground for Robins?

After all, the Oakland Raiders used to hold their summer training camp right here in unknown Santa Rosa.

Guys like my brother became life long Raider fans.

If that’s the first Robin… how many more will show up?

    Holy sidekick, Batman!

Do you head to Cleveland whenever you need a new one?

Meanwhile… whether you noticed or not… sorry I didn’t have a chance to say “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!” to you all.

I guess Éire went Brách without me…

    (so to speak).

Monday was a long day, as my days go, which do not last as long as I used to be good for.

I went out to do my grocery shopping, but I hadn’t realised the effects of the hoarding that’s been stripping shelves.

Went to Costco first… but they’d been the hardest hit.

Ended up going to three other places…

came home so tired I couldn’t stay awake on the comics.

Turned out to be a good thing I bought food, because while I was out, I got a text from the Sheriff’s department….

(my California county Sheriff, to be clear… not Ballard County… cos, temporarily, that’s me. )

We’re under a “shelter in place” order for the next three weeks.

I wasn’t planning on going anywhere on St. Pat’s… but it would have been impossible anyway.

Bars closed, and any restaurants trying to stay open reduced by Sheriff’s orders to half capacity.

So… I should be home a lot… and be here more… like it or not

    :)

Good morning Balladeers, Plods and Miss Susan!

Susan, our local restaurants here in my area are only offering curbside or take out. No customers will be seated, period. Our TP was wiped out from I am hearing, all the grocery stores and Walmart. I thought maybe I should buy some extra pet food just in case, so I quickly ran to the grocery store. Heck, even Tylenol is sold out! My office is on a reduced schedule, but that may change to work from home or a complete shutdown. We now have three confirmed cases in Union county, which is 2 counties over from me. So ………?? Sure is surreal, this whole thing!

That is one skinny Robin. All the Robins in my yard are fat little balls of fluff.
