Another “uneventful” day in the life of Annie

So it was the PI that bought the farm.

She’s REALLY not going to get any sleep when she finds out he’s dead.

This does NOT bode well for her alibi.

It was the one armed man, he was hired by the Blue Circle, and paid for with money embezzeled by Warbucks Evil double. I think, but then I could be wrong. He might even have run afoul of the insidious Spell Check Nazis, and they clubbed down with a lead filled #2 pencil. Oh And good morning to one and all.

LeakySqueaky…………Never heard of the Bad Seed…………

Looked it up on IMBd, and boy, I’m REALLY not into that much suspense. Love old classics, but, not that much suspense.

About the pills and booze…………..How’s Merlot sound????

    that works for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leaving his papers in their place Means that he is easy to trace A fatal flaw from the one who killed Must not a professional from the guild Whacking the dick makes no sense Not even Connie can be that dense She still has time to spill the beans And ruin the old biddies monetary dreams.

And I notice a certain Mr Doty acts like the comment boards are his to police and allow folks to post as only he sees fit. I’d consider trying your own advice Mr. D. If you don’t like the comments, simply don’t read them.

Good morning, everybody! I slept late this morning ‘cause it’s my day off. Half of you probably won’t be around to even see my post today. Oh Well.

VistaBill - I used to read DT every day. But I got bored with it 2 or 3 years ago and haven’t read it since. But I still enjoy Annie after all these years (decades).

Montana - You really should see it. The ‘56 version is the best, nominated for 4 Academy Awards. Or go to the bublic library and check out the novel.

I don’t think Connie did this - somebody else hired by the two spinsters wanted the shamus gone, and these two probably want Connie out of the way also. Probably the two biddies themselves have traveled down Mexico way - to make certain their plans are accomplished, and Connie knows she is next.

I’m wondering how the 2 spinsters would even know about the private eye? Unless I missed something in the strip.

Think there is another ingredient in this recipe.

Imagine, 33 posts on the Annie board. Things are looking up.

This strip is interestingly written. Maeder has his readers on their toes.

As the man who wrote the Official Dick Tracy Biography, Jay Maeder should be writing Dick Tracy

Regarding that unexpected death, I’m sure no one here believes little Connie did it !

margueritem, you sure have me puzzled. One day “Leaky” is a niece, then she/he (?) became a nephew, now he/she’s back as a niece (?)

How do you all do it ? And my, how loquasious she/he has become these past three weeks ;-)

My PC picked up a bug and what with 3rd world service, I was off the boards for five days.

Whew! I’m lucky I guess. Here I was worried about coming here and being too yappy or too silent. Thank goodness all I have to worry about is being loquacious & taciturn. This just might work. :^)

Dear Sydney, we missed you. Glad to read that you weren’t ill. Leaky was at first thought to be a girl, due to the Rhoda and Roseann pictures. It turns out that Leaky is male. He is my ‘niece’ when he is playing the part of Rhoda. Did I confuse you further?
