The administration explained that we are bombing IN Syria which is different from bombing Syria. It all depends on what the meaning of ‘is’ is.

Instead of fighting the badder bad guy now and the bad guy later, why not wait until they’ve thinned out the playing field and then respond to the remaining bad guy and their threat, whatever it is at that time… against whatever’s left. Like being in the play-offs… There can be only one, and eventually there won’t be much of anything left for the winner, whoever that is.

To Carmen’s point: She apparently understands that this whole “line in the sand” thing is being laughably misunderstood, to wit: There’s “drawing a line”, beyond which one party will not allow itself or others to pass. And then there’s “drawing a line in the sand”, which means, because of the nature of sand, a meaningless gesture easily changed or removed. It is accurate for the event it was applied to, as it turned out. But if it was meant as the “you SHALL NOT PASS”, it was painfully embarrassing. And then to color it red on top of it…sheesh!

One of the few times that Carmen and Winslow seem to agree upon. Just look at their faces.

I’d say Stantis got it right. Wonder how America’s leftists are coping with their new warlord?
