I’m never sure which is worse: getting to work late and being scolded for it, or getting to work late and having the boss say (in all sincerity), “Oh, were you late today? I hadn’t noticed!”
Is there something worse than wasting a good lie? Sure. Telling a perfectly good truth and not being thanked for it… which is more par for the course in this King’s court.

Well, Rod, if you need any more lies, you can ask the Fink and he’ll sell a few to you. Tax them, too.

Getting up late to turn on the taxes?? Or does he let them run all night!!
freeholder1 over 14 years ago
Staying OR getting up late is too taxing. They run 24/7.

kings can be late?
jpozenel over 14 years ago
Don’t worry Rodney, you can use it again at a later date. The king has a short memory.

There have been many late kings, jabbottfan. George VI is the most recent.
