    Actually, it’s not impossible that a civilization might have partially inherited advanced technology from a previous civilization without it’s full knowledge base. Down through history people have invented ideas and myths about their world based on themselves and what they knew.

    Dead pixels drive me nuts. TV manufacturers’ dead pixel warranty policies drive me even nuttier. In most cases, you need at least 6 dead pixels before they’ll replace it. Just 1 stuck pixel and it’s all I could ever see. I was almost glad when my last TV got stolen.
