Adam: How about you? What superhero would you be? Clayton: Batman. Adam: Nah. Horrible choice. All that brooding. The late nights. Using that scratchy voice'll tear up your throat. Plus, that rubber suit? Rubber doesn't breathe, son! Clayton: Well, cotton doesn't stop bullets!

Last time I checked, rubber doesn’t stop bullets either. And Batman doesn’t wear a rubber suit, well, except when he’s feeling kinky.

Adam West didn’t wear a rubber suit in the campy 1960’s Batman and Kevin Conroy didn’t have a scratchy voicein Batman:The Animated Series. He had two voices:a normal one for Bruce Wayne; and a dark (and serious)one for Batman.

Sorry Clayton, Batman isn’t a superhero…he’s a man with gadgets. Superman didn’t need cotton to stop the bullets, but it’s a wonder that the cape didn’t do him in. :-)
