I absorb guilt like crazy. That’s why I like cats. They teach me otherwise.

P.S. Today’s “My Cage” is one of the best ever. This comes from a deeply heartfelt “Sylvia” fan.

My mom apparently threw herself on the guilt-grenade to save my sister and me, aborbing it all within herself. She also, selflessly, de-sensitized us with massive doses of mom-martyrdom. We are now nearly immune to feeling guilty. Thanks, Mom! :-D
