Considering he’s a part-owner, it’ll probably be a while. Unless he gets bought out. Heck, it might actually be an instance of genius marketing.

Oy. I thought we were dispensing with the gratuitous personal attacks. Maybe you just always need a target for your pent-up anger. It’s pretty funny you consider my previous post to be a “rebuttal.” I wonder what @Night-Gaunt would say about that. Anyway, you’ve apparently got a whole wealth of information on how to run a business, and your tone suggests some pretty secure knowledge that this strip is a documentary and my previous post is a submission to a business journal. So hey, hats off to you for a truly erudite display.

Taco Cart Guy has a new girlfriend. Or maybe she’s the same girlfriend. Either way, she looks hot.

Ah, more slings and arrows. I suppose when you don’t have an argument—and even had to concoct one to get up on the boards today—that’s what you’re left with. Whatever makes your heart happy, I guess. By the way, I’m not indignant (so much for your own mind-reading abilities). Just a little sad that you don’t seem to be able to do anything here but grasp at aspersions.

By the way, I wonder if some of our current communication problem might be down to the fact this is a text-only medium. Key & Peele have a good sketch (though NSFW for language) that gets at it, here: http://youtu.be/naleynXS7yo

I didn’t know he was part owner.

That’s what I assumed he meant by silent partner.

Yeah, Lalo seems to be making fun of her.

How is he making fun of a background extra who you can barely see? Have you not been to a restaurant where a hostess is there to greet you and take you to your table? But really, how is he making fun of this restaurant employee?

    There is no communication problem.

So you’re saying that you actually are continuing to be aggressive and nasty in your comments? While it was fun when I was verbally eviscerating you, I’m working on sticking to the actual arguments here. It’ll be an interesting experiment to see what you do over time.

A careful examination would reveal that@Lorenzo Browncoat and I were not referring to the woman in the background.

Oops, my bad. Yep, that poster is a bit sexist.

“So you’re saying that you actually are continuing to be aggressive and nasty in your comments?”-Where did I say that?

Well, if you’d watched the Key & Peele piece I linked to (which, fair enough if you didn’t, what with it being an extra link to follow and having an NSFW tag), you’d have gotten that when I talked about current communication problems, I was referring to tone, which can often be misread in a text-only medium. And since you were saying that, no, there is no miscommunication regarding tone, then my (and others’) reading of you as being aggressive and nasty would be accurate. Again, fair enough if you didn’t watch the video, and this is simply a clarification for you, assuming you didn’t.

Nope. What I’m saying is that I was saying something about tone, and it got lost in translation (the translation being that video I linked to). See? Failure to communicate.
