Joy would eat with a post-hole digger if necessary. Actually, I think she uses something like a front end loader at home. Silverware is cleaner here than at home as well since they only wash dishes once a week to save money.I’m really liking the one ounce prime rib with Ore Ida instant mashers and Sara Lee for dessert. Just like home.
I like the name of the restaurant, although I think she may have actually meant ‘stunadi’ instead of ‘stenadi’. The former is Italian/American slang for stupid people. The singular is ‘stunad’ (stonato).
I went to eat at a Cafeteria a while back and when I unwrapped the silverware, there was lipstick on the spoon and dried food on the fork………….got new sliver, clean this time, and ate but never went back.
Considering the kind of place they go to eat, that first lick was probably the safest and healthiest part of the meal. .(And if you think about other things she has probably licked – if you can without throwing up in your mouth – you won’t worry so much about a spoon.)
