    Good morning, Vagabonds.

@Jan, I am also praying for Michael’s quick recovery.

My cat has been hounding a tiny, tiny mouse for the last day. I never knew one could be so small. I will not interfere with my cat’s natural instincts and am confident that Joyful is only playing with the poor creature and will not eat it – I feed her well enough.

Guten Morgen, Vagabonds. @Jan – praying also for Michael.

@Arye – Don’t be too sure. Kitty might decide that mousie would make a nice little desert or between meal snack!

Our German friends are leaving for a few days to visit other friends they have in Texas, so we won’t see them till they get back. So today we’re taking them to the Beaumont airport to rent a car.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

Michael and I thank you for your prayers. He will be released tomorrow, and will be in therapy for a while. Other than that, he has asked me not to share any details.

In the meantime, life goes on. Cat is recovering. (he doesn’t like it when I smear his pink medicine all over his front feet, but at least he isn’t hiding from me in terror anymore.) Weather is wonderful. And I haven’t worked in about 2 weeks.
