Spread that cheer, Heidi!
Everyday’s a holiday and every paycheck is a fortune! Hoorah!
She seems like a fun kind of woman to have as a granny.
Heidi, heidi, hidey hi:

Heidi ho Heidi hi Gonna get me A piece of the sky
BS&T
♫It’s 5 o’clock somewhere.♫
How does she get those balloons to rise without a tank of helium? Enthusiasm?
She’s not blowing them up, she’s a helium junkie.
For me as well, but I don’t need to say it with balloons.
It wasn’t a dream…it’s an ongoing nightmare.
Good job holding all those balloon strings with one elbow, Heidi!
Good thing she didn’t bark in a hospital zone. Or slip on a banana, Or get crushed by a falling piano.

Oh – the kind of nightmare where you think you’ve awoken but are still asleep…
I had a Will Smith – MiB dream last night. Thrilling!
Heidi ho, all!
(in honor of happy Heidi, above… and the holiday we must be having here…)
We’re happy, ourselves, of course… to be able to comment on
the March 27th 2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”… on Sherpa, via Dennis’ link.
When early 20th century cartoon boy, Little Nemo, drifted off to Slumberland, he was lost in dreams…
When early 21st century cartoon dog, little Cleo drifts off… she gets lost in memes…
Ah, Cleo, you’ve run into a known work hazard of being a ’toon….
when a real life dog wakes up… the dream world is gone…
it might take a moment of head-shaking, but after that, the dream images have disappeared.
But if you’re a cartoon dog… the line between reality and dreams is blurred….
both states, for you, being fictional, and assigned by your cartoonist/creator.
If Nighthawks were to take the notion… he could surround you with comics clichés all the time.
Lucky for you, he gives you some sort of reality in which to live, instead.
Uh huh… one in which basset hounds walk upright, talk, fire bazookas… steal kibble trucks… wait… where was I going with this?
Poor Cleo. Caught in the clutches of a cartoon cliche. Curses!
I love the expressions through the toon!
Day 14 – Gotta love being in 24 hrs/day.
I loved the log being sawn. (is that a word?) I kept waiting for the end to fall off. But then I realized that this is a cartoon. Aaarrrgghh!
“Every day is a holiday..”? I guess we’ll have to wait and see, won’t we?Good afternoon Balladeers, Plods and Miss Susan!
At least Cleo didn’t have that nightmare where the evil cat eats all her kibble and then hisses at her all night.
Are we sure that it’s helium in those balloons?
I love the way Stel misted up the edges.
