Right. Why single out IV? They were all stinkers.

I have worked with native Japanese. Both the number 4 and the number 9 are considered unlucky. The Japanese have many cultural traditions that are superstitious.

Untrue, the number four is also considered unlucky in Japan. The Japanese pronunciation of 4 can either be “yon” or “shi”. “Shi” sounding like the Japanese word for death.

Sounds like Coach has it right.

Four (the hard way) is also unlucky in Las Vegas and Reno…

2 is too even and 3 is too odd.
