Roger: Bye, everyone. I'm off to work. Wish me luck waking up today without a drop of coffee in my blood.
Andy: See? Waking up wasn't so though. Also, the front door's this way.
Roger: B-b-base-m-m-ment-st-st-steps...
JRSofty, those children are all old enough to get themselves up and attem. And please, dads in the last 20 years have been far more involved in their kids’ lives than the past. This whole, mom-does-it-all garbage is so last century.
Roger needs to “share his experience” with Andy so that she can feel close to him. Wait until the middle of the night when she’s dead asleep in bed and then
DUMP A BUCKET OF ICE WATER ON HER AND SEE HOW SHE LIKES IT!!
I also liked the suggestion of banning Chocolate from the house. See how long Andy puts up with THAT!
“If it weren’t for the caffeine, I’d have no personality whatsoever.” David Letterman. Last night’s monologue. Glad to be the first one to post it. Seems to be the rule for Roger as well.
CDWard - while I agree that dads are much more involved these days (my hubby is a stay at home dad and has homeschooled our kids) and that the kids are old enough to get themselves up, it doesn’t keep me from waking up with the kids on the weekends, or making sure they are up on time during the week. The kids are all it takes to wake me up in the morning.
cdward, i think you misunderstood. The point was that the children themselves is enough to wake up Andy. She doesn’t need additional stimulants.
[and for what it’s worth, there are studies showing that when a baby cries, mothers wake up quickest (even if it’s not their child), then women w/o children, then men without children, and last of all, fathers.]
Who feels it is their responsibility to decide how (or when) someone else wakes up in the morning. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I understand those who need it.

He really should ban whatever Andy needs to wake up in the morning, just so she can suffer too.

She has children that’s always enough to get you to wake up in the morning.

He should get coffee on the way to work and tell her never to do that again as she values their marriage.

Nab - So… How was the venison? Just make sure that, when you fill out the tag, you say, “Method of Take: Chevy”.

In the American State of Pennsylvania, the government does ask the motorist to take the dead venison with him after the collision.
