More proof Walmart is evil.

I haven’t walked into one in years - out of respect for all the small business’ trying to compete with big box stores.

Is that first panel true? I haven’t heard that one. Not that I ever go to Wal-Mart. I have other alternatives, so it’s easy for me, I admit.

I like getting the local walmart in trouble with corporate. The whole company has gone down hill. They get rid of the decent employees and keep the crap.

…and all this time I thought the only color Wal-Mart understood was GREEN…must be getting too big to fail….

The first one is true. A stupid teenager sneaked into the office and said it over the PA system.

sottwell, I just checked it out, too. I can imagine those teens will experience more trouble than they had planned for.

hm, I don’t like to be put in the position of defending wallyworld, but Lalo implied(incorrectly) that walmart’s managers made that announcement…… there is plenty of racism alive and well and unreported going on now without having to make anything up

Some teenager got ahold of the mic and made the announcement. The manager immediately apologized. The kid has been arrested.

For any number of perfectly valid reasons I WILL NOT enter a Wall-Mart!

However, I shop at TARGET all the time.

Coward that I am, I choose not to explore that discrepancy.

I soothe myself by imagining that TARGET is somehow better than Wall-Mart, even though I suspect that it is just as guilty of the same nefarious things.

The only reason I can come up with that makes any sense, is that walking into a Wall-Mart (back when I did) feels like walking into a slaughter-house and walking into a TARGET store doesn’t.

I will probably continue making this unwarranted choice for a long time.
