This ‘sounds’ very familiar. Maybe Schulz read from some old WWI history books? Snoop’s always cute though.

I was a Marine in Vietnam. It was really great to see choppers. They sometimes brought supplies, and sometimes they delivered some nice gifts for Charlie. But the best was when they took me out of the boonies for a few days.

I never passed up the opportunity to “buzz” the troops. It was a morale builder for them.

Just one question: were you even alive then? I want to know how history is taught in schools nowadays. BTW: I agree with you on LBJ.

Later, Snoopy (as the Ace) would spend a lot of time over at Marcie’s “small French cafe’”, pounding down the root beers. He also (as himself) would go over to Bill Mauldin’s house every Veteran’s Day to pound down the root beers. Two world wars, two excuses for root beers!

The trailer for the new movie showed that Snoopy will be flying again.
