On my way!! Cars, trucks and buses are banned from the island of Sark in the English Channel- the ambulance and fire pumps are towed by a tractor. Several ant species build nest mounds that slope southwards to maximize the heat absorbed from the sun during the day. Danger! The world's first traffic lights, installed in London circa 1868, were a disaster after the gas powered lights exploded and injured the operator.

I don’t know which is more ridiculous: the tractor fire pumps and tractor ambulances, or the gas-lit traffic lights.

Sark’s a very strange place. Was still feudal until a few years ago.

And in the southern hemisphere, presumably the abt hills slope to the north.

What did you learn today?
There aren’t any cars on Cutty Sark because ants (aunts?) destroyed all the traffic lights.
