So be President right there. Nothing in the Constitution requires the President to be resident in Washington DC—-in olden times it was just for convenience. Nowadays, with modern technology, the President can be anywhere.

Digging a moat around the White House would be a lot of trouble as well.
I would vote for Llew…ya know if I was American and all. He can run for PM of Canada any time we could use a bit of zen in parliament.
