    He sawed his shoes in half and his feet are still intact? How was that possible? (Yeah, yeah, magicians’ tricks are ne’er revealed.)

    Strange. I’m guessing he clumsily dropped the saw; it fell on his feet; and it cut his shoes in half without hurting his feet. So that gives you more confidence in the saw, but less in the magician??
