Ha. He must’ve got one ’o the misprint t-shirts. The correct message was: Old Country Buffet survived ME, but by the grace of God is slowly, albeit painfully recovering!!

Are they in one of those “Disney-esque” old towns? Everything made to look old but not? A lot of ersatz “experience” but very little “stuff.”Ruined Space Center Houston that way. Lots of bounce-style Space Shuttles and maybe a couple of moon rocks over in the corner next to the rest rooms.

Mr. Overalls looks a might too hefty to be with Aber Crumb.

I do not enjoy seeing people being portrayed as less intelligent than the Pennys. It seems too large a flight of fantasy…. moribund, horror fantasy. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++In my mind, because I do not want to embue the bearded fellow with overalls as being more of a dunce than Burl, I will instead assume Julie meant the bearded fellow’s comment to be ironic and in-jest for a rather arbitrary and silly question by Joy. And, I willingly also presume Burl’s attempt at a snarky reply is only because was too “Burl” to catch the irony in the bearded fellow’s voice.

I THINK this town was recently built, to PORTRAY historical whatever. Notice the sign above Aber Crumb’s speech balloon that says ‘Established 200X’? So I do believe Pipe Tobacco was on the right track.
