Are big stores such as Wal-Mart (or its subsidiary Sam’s Wholesale) always the solution to small towns?
They are the solution to destroy small towns! They replace good paying jobs with low paying part time jobs.
Obviously no one here has ever worked in mom-and-pop retail.
It’s RETAIL, people. All jobs in retail are low-paying part-time jobs, regardless of who owns the ratzenfratzin store.
Ooo what can I buy in a ratzenfratzin store???
But But But By bulldozing Farmer John field and putting in a Big Box politicians can raise the mil rate. That’s good, right?
Farmer John probably thinks so, because more likely than not, he got more money from selling his land than he made in several decades of farming.
It’s amazing how everyone has perfectly logical solutions to all our problems ————- yet they persist………..
Ask the Ann Coulter ad. She knows.
Rmom, what Farmer John fails to realize is that it’s a one-time payout.
Me, I have worked in retail store. Now I work at a discount store. And I like it.
