The universe is not very big. The world is very big.

Our Earth’s orbit is far, far bigger.

Our solar system is far, far bigger again.

The Western Arm of our galaxy is far, far bigger again.

The entire Milky Way galaxy is far, far bigger again.

The distance to the next nearest galaxy is far, far bigger again.

We are part of a galactic cluster. That is far, far bigger again.

The distance to the next galactic cluster is far, far bigger again.

Our galactic cluster is part of a galactic supercluster. That is far, far bigger again.

The visible universe is far, far bigger again.

The likely size of the universe is far, far bigger again.

So why do we squabble so?
