    go with “NADS”you can claim yer dyslexic….and you were going for “SAND”as in… “I got sand in my eye”….which is much more acceptable than“I got nads in my eye”jus sayin….

    Scott is right. Gluey is a word.Scott is wrong. Nad is not a word (Gonad is).“Ow, my gonad!”“Gonad?”“Yes, the left one!” Which reminds me of a funny incident at a party I was at many years ago. There were multiple conversations going on, you know “Murmur murmur murmur”, and a friend of mine was talking about working on his motorcycle: “…and I lost my left nut…”The whole room went completely silent for a couple of seconds, then everyone broke out in raucous laughter.I still don’t understand how the whole room could have heard him say that!

    Louie in Crab Louie is still a name. Not sure if you could play Thermidor – can you play September?

    Maybe it was louis? – which is a coin too.

    I agree that there are many “professional” Scrabble words that nobody ever actually uses, but “adz” is not a great example. My dad had one and I actually used it quite a lot as a kid.

    “Louie” is also slang for a lieutenant.
