1 Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights above.2 Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts.3 Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars.4 Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.5 Let them praise the name of the Lord, for at his command they were created,6 and he established them for ever and ever— he issued a decree that will never pass away.7 Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,8 lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding,9 you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,10 wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds,11 kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth,12 young men and women, old men and children.13 Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.14 And he has raised up for his people a horn,[b] the praise of all his faithful servants, of Israel, the people close to his heart.Praise the Lord.
Psalm 150 doesn’t seem to have anything to do with weather, though it does call for music:
Psalm 150
1 Praise the Lord.Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe,5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.
It is Psalm 148. Imagine an infallible pope who can’t get his Bible citations right. But this is “Francis the comic strip” after all, and the artist regrets the error. Thanks for the help.
Hi, Pat, thanks for your comment. I’m Jewish, but I love your strip and wish this Pope only the best.I went to UMKC, graduated from KU, and, when I went back to KC, remember serving a few drinks to the priests from Rockhurst, all nice guys. I miss KC, it’s a great city.

I think he may have meant Psalm 148:

6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

I saw the Pope on a rainy day. At times, between the umbrellas, I could just manage to see . . . more umbrellas!
