My roommate recently started buying “blood carrots” and loves them. They’re purple!

I checked, but couldn’t find, any documentation for how long a head might be conscious after being severed. Estimates range from immediate unconsciousness to as long as thirty seconds. Not a pleasant thought.

It is a far, far better thing to do than it has ever done before.
