There were at least two discount stores here setting up Christmas aisles in JULY!
By August there were a few Christmas things in several stores, and by now, in most of them.
Costco, Target, WalMart… it’s nothing compared to what will happen in the next couple of weeks.. but they’ve had some ornaments, ribbon, etc for a month.
I was at Cost Plus tonight and they have all the imported Christmas food stocked up already….is it to eat in early November or to give as gifts when it’s stale?
Jokes about Christmas colliding with Halloween always remind me of Tim Burton’s “Nightmare Before Christmas”. Which would make great mood-setting viewing for tonight – I wonder if it’s streaming on Netflix?

There are actually at least two houses in my neighborhood whose yards are decorated for Christmas already.

Oh bring us some figgy pudding, and maybe a couple of Kit-Kats if you’ve got any. I like to stick them in my pudding.

In July, I bought some Christmas ornaments. In the beginning of October, they were sold out. Go figure.
