100% is the limit before you break something. I like to compare it to paper clips. If you only put in 3-4 pieces of paper they last forever. If you put in 30-40, they will hold, but are permanently deformed and won’t properly hold 3-4 afterwards.
If you work more than the standard 45 hours a week (Engineers) then you go over the normal 100% of time.Or if you are a Smart engineer, you work 40 Hours and put 65 on the Spreadsheet. Which of course is all the manager goes by anyway.

I guess that according to math & science, 100% is the real maximum. The only exception to this rule is taxes.
