I’m unfamiliar with the Candyman that has the hook-hand.

He’s from a series of horror movies called “Candyman,” in which if you say his name five times while standing in front of a mirror, he will come out and kill you with his hook hand.

Why Gene Wilder? Because the Candy Man can. Just ask the Candy Shop owner and he will sing it to you.

Don’t know if anyone else thinks this but I see Tom Baker’s Dr Who as the inspiration for Gene’s Wonka character.

“I’ll sic my Oompa Loompas on you!”

My dad had a coat like that from the 70’s that I wore out in high school and college. I loved the absurdly huge sherpa lapels and cuffs.

Homer Simpson would tell you “He’s snoring dirt.”

Alright!

The fake Candyman’s hook was very scary ! Love the happy smile on Thatababy’s face in the last panel.
