Let’s get the spelling correct, it is Hutaree.

Let’s also notice that the violence that occurred recently, was in Virginia when Norman Leboon, a liberal, fired a bullet through the office window of Eric Cantor a Republican, and then took credit and threatened Cantor’s life on Youtube.

Thanks for noting my typo, Loco, but the simple fact is, the type of violence being fostered is wrong WHICHEVER SIDE enters into it. That Limbaugh and Beck, and Boehner and Palin, have either fomented, or guardedly sanctioned violence, or turned aside without condemning those in their audiences fomenting hate, is disgusting.

Any Depression causes fear and anger as people see people losing their jobs, homes, and health insurance, but what this despression has done is effected people who never thought this could happen to them.

People who had good, high paying jobs, lived in nice areas in good homes, were taken down by the greed of Wall Street, foolish bank loans, the bankrupicy of nation wide companies like Circut City and Mervyn’s, and usually voted Republican saw things falling down around them and they paniced.

They are scared and FOX and the GOP are adding to the fear with their talk of socialism, Obamacare, and “Obama hates white people.”

All the surveys show that the group is the most angry are White Males, who feel they are losing their position of power in the country.

This is a time for caution and reason, the GOP needs to step up and work to bring peace and calm, even though it will costs them votes.

Hey all, thanks for posts with no venom. Very refreshing. Maybe we can all keep it up, I know I get cranky late at night. I still never watch Fox News, so I cannot comment on them, my source on the Virginia story was the AP. But in general, yes, hatred and violence are not the way, the voting booth is.

halfabug, both sides are having a hard time, but the GOP decided to become obstreperous as a strategy (100% “no” isn’t a moral stand, it’s a political one), and they’ve encouraged the Tea Partiers. Sarah Palin posted the following on Facebook (theoretically about the NCAA) taunting the people who objected (reasonably) to her posting pictures of Democrats in gunsights on her webpage. Ask yourself: can you imagine someone on the left posting this? (All emphases are hers.) “To the teams that desire making it this far next year: Gear up! In the battle, set your sights on next season’s targets! From the shot across the bow – the first second’s tip-off – your leaders will be in the enemy’s crosshairs, so you must execute strong defensive tactics. You won’t win only playing defense, so get on offense! The crossfire is intense, so penetrate through enemy territory by bombing through the press, and use your strong weapons – your Big Guns – to drive to the hole. Shoot with accuracy; aim high and remember it takes blood, sweat and tears to win.

Focus on the goal and fight for it. If the gate is closed, go over the fence. If the fence is too high, pole vault in. If that doesn’t work, parachute in. If the other side tries to push back, your attitude should be “go for it.” Get in their faces and argue with them. (Sound familiar?!) Every possession is a battle; you’ll only win the war if you’ve picked your battles wisely. No matter how tough it gets, never retreat, instead RELOAD!”

Asking people NOT TO FEAR, and NOT to get angry for all the wrong reasons, again, is pointless with politicians and a press passing poison.

The Buddha said: “it is the bonds of envy and niggardliness that bind beings so that, although they wish to live without hate, hostility, or enmity, and so live in peace, yet they live in hate, harming one another, hostile, and as enemies.”

If only our “defense system” was as profitable, and small as our minds, we might be safer, and less fearful?

@Churchillmakesitup What Churchill doesn’t tell you is that those Kill Bush games are the exact opposite of what he is talking about. Here’s an example:

    http://tinyurl.com/ya5ntel

The rest of the games are more like giving bush a brain or throwing a shoe at him. Harmless fun.

By the way do you proof read your links? The game portrayed in that silly rant was called pictogame. The game allows you to upload anyone’s picture and the bad guy will be whoever you want. Its not a game about killing bush unless you want it to be. So….NO!

Its a wonder you don’t post links and only cut and paste your unreliable sources. We get to see how much of an fool you really are, just like the “kill Bush” games that are out there.

I did the same search and got more hits than a bong in regards to the “kill Obama game.” Now if they actually have the game or not is another debate all together.

P.S. Rosie and Janeane aren’t telling progressives to go kill Republicants as opposed to a certain moose killer who is telling her base to “reload” as well as this idiot here:

churchill, I find those games obnoxious, too. There is a difference between some idiot on the Internet doing it, and Sarah Palin herself, who theoretically knows better. Let’s keep some distinctions here, okay? Obama never put up, recommended, or approved of a “Kill Bush” game, but Sarah Palin puts people in gunsights on her website, and taunts people who object. Real mature.

^^My God! You actually slightly admitted some slight wrongness to the inane and juvenile behavior of Sarah Palin! Will wonders never cease? I never said Sarah Palin was deliberately “inciting violence,” that was your term. But using violent imagery is more than inadvisable, it is insulting, it is vile, and it is winking at those who are inciting violence. If you can’t agree with that, you’re just resisting this because I irritate you as much as you irritate me.

Once again Clay Bennet has made a cutting observation that aptly encapsulates a central issue of the moment. If it offends you, perhaps that is because it exposes you.
