It’s not as common as it seems. I know of a lot of people who arrange their life events around their favorite college team schedule. In fact we were surprised a few years ago when a die hard fan got married on the same day that his team was playing. it turns out that he had messed up on reading the schedule.It was funny. The game ran long, and several men showed up late for the service. As each man entered the church late you could hear the whispered question, “What’s the score?”
