I see both as well. An optometrist told me that I may never need glasses because one eye is near-sighted and the other far-sighted and they each compensate for the other.

How did they know we had our municipal elections yesterday? We had 60% voter turnout, the highest it has been in years. That isn’t as high as 75% Hispanic voters in America, but then, they aren’t voting up here, so it evens out. I think.

I wonder how many Canadians vote for Canadian Idol? I think they vote for American Idol, and I personally like Britain’s Idol best. If I had a T.V. Which I don’t.So it evens out again, lol

Cleo, you are lucky. My cousin had glasses all through her childhood. By the time she was in her late teens, she no longer needed glasses. Now she is in her late forties, she needs them to read, but still not for distance.I have been short sighted since my teens. Now both eyes are long and short sighted, like most Boomers, and I can’t see far or near without glasses. Bummer.

Well, I can see my computer and read a book without glasses, if the print isn’t too small.Gosh, I seem to be extra verbose today. What the heck?

Could it be that I have missed the whole point of this conversation because I can’t see Alexikakos’s video? It seems to me that something is missing here.

The video just showed up. I saw her before I saw him. If I get far enough away, I see Shirley Temple. Really weird.
