What in the world is the matter with Burl? I looks like he got squashed in a door. He is so llttle and his feet are so big! Julie must have been in a hurry.And Marlene is looking very trim. The new diet must be working. Of course after the fired onion app. and the 10 ounce steak, loaded baked potato, creamed spinach, and double fudge cake (it comes on a special) she will look like Joy. The Special is what brought them here, they usually don’t eat in such a fancy place.What happened to Dale’s foot?So many questions tonite.
There is definitely something going on with today’s artwork…
It may be something Julie has used and re-worked so many times it’s almost unrecognisable… the limbs have been painted out and moved too many times, and the other outlines have become thick and blurry….
or maybe it was a smaller picture done in a different style for a purpose other than a single panel strip….
In any case, Burl’s legs look like a cardboard cut-out… the kind with a cross-piece to make it stand up.
Goes with his cardboard brain, and his feeble attempt at what he considers stand up comedy.
None of it stands up to close examination.In fact, close examination is something I’d never want to give any of them.
