We had early winter slop today too, Sunshine, 5 minutes later snow, then rain and sunshine. Repeat. Strange weather. Now it’s 25 and supposed to rain tomorrow. Oh Joy!
My sheepdog ran away when he was one, on a day that it was snowing like crazy, and about 20 and windy. I called the animal shelter to see if he had been turned in, and the lady laughed and said, "oh, yeah, on a day like today, we get tons of reports of runaway sheepdogs, huskies, malamutes and other northern breeds.
