Where in the Gospel of Matthew is that scripture the vicar recited? Anyway, if Andy spent more time in church, he wouldn’t be in that predicament.

He probably would not have fished there. Matthew was a tax collector. Peter, James & John were fishermen.

I know THAT feeling, Fanolio! I don’t mind being ignored, but when the fish start laughing at me, I tend to head home……..

For flu victims everywhere, my secrets: For a sore throat, I dissolve a couple of Sucrets in a cup of hot tea. I’ve had good results from making a pot of hot Tang in my coffee machine and spending the day drinking it. (I’ve had far better results from drinking other things but of course that was when my liver was younger………)

I take this for colds.It doesn’t cure the cold – it just makes you not care if you have it.

One year when I was a lot younger, I passed on getting the flu shot. Of course I came down with the flu and spent the night in a hospital… I agree, Never Again! ;)
