Well since the criminal is still free that is a crime in itself so…
Very true. Going back to a couple of days ago SYDNEY said that “It would seem that there are several – far more pressing cases that require his ATTENTION,” so let’s review what has actually happened so far.
A murderer, who was previously arrested by Dick Tracy, has now escaped from prison, and is on the loose now having had plastic surgery to make him unrecognizable, possibly looking for revenge on Tracy. According to Sydney, this is not something of pressing concern to Dick Tracy, and is beneath the dignity of the MCU to investigate.
I’m not sure if murderers escaping from jail are a low priority item in Trinidad, but in the United States, prison escapes are a criminal offence.
In case you missed some of this, a brief recap of some dialogue (emphasis mine):10/21 Sam to Tracy: “I’ve an update on that old pal of yours that just broke out of the joint.” (Obviously, Tracy has had person contact with Gruesome.)10/27 Gruesome to Dr Einstein, concerning their need for cash: “Doctor, I’m a murderer, not a bank robber.”
He played a weirdly scary female character in Girl From UNCLE.-——“The Mother Muffin Affair.” She was so scary, Norman Bates wouldn’t visit her on Mother’s Day.
Phillips uses the word sluggish. Let’s add slow. Wheels are spinning guys, you’ve gone from the “3-4 week” extreme to the neverending stories. But at least it ain’t a crossover, yet at least.
…as for these perceived story lags, we can’t have a non-stop climax or there wouldn’t actually BE one at all……this is moving along much faster than some of the past one…..and I’m curious to see whether Rikki, the Blackhearts, etc are going to somehow join this story or are waiting in the wings for a totally new one (my guess is the latter, since I keep hearing here that the Sprockets are due for an encore performance in Jan….hey, maybe Nemo can join them in a crossover…jk!)
" All that missing action is contained in the 4th panels on the cutting room floor. "*-————————————————————-Good thinking !Those may well be the MissingSpace Coup - in the Bathroom scenes, that one Jim M frequently COMPLAINS about - on the DT Yahoo Board !And frankly, it may well be - the sort of Missing ‘Action’, that most will agree, is best left - right there ! (?)
Good grief! Could Christopher Cushing possibly convince Gruesome (so to speak) to go straight?! Or is paying him a compliment in the press going to get A.A. Stone into dire straits? And unless A.A. Stone turns out somehow to be a major plot point, it appears that today we are just biding our time, as nothing of import (again: unless A.A. turns out to be important!) is happening….
And Gweedo, “speaking” of PANELSthere was a good one in panel 2 on Oct, 17th – Vitamin - speaking at a Press Conference with Coffee Grounds and Miss Fisher . . .It almost seems he was directing his words to TRACY (and Neil might note too) when he said . . .
“. . . WE SEEN OUR DUTY AND WE DID IT” !
The Old Bard has been known (with that June 28, Stage pronouncement), to Intentionally Misdirect - the time he implied re Tracy, it’s not ‘Where’, but ‘WHEN’ !
THIS time Battery fully charged - he seems to be SPOT ON !

Oh, oh! “Boris Karloff” references are not good for anyone’s well-being!

Christopher Cushing a.k.a. Gruesome is certainly somebody to look out for.

Good morning VistaBill and fans. Gruesome is now interested in AA Stone. Does he have an ulterior movie? Y’all have a blessed day.

By the way – the actors in the movie “Arsenic and Old Lace” who played the two aunts and brother Teddy were all from the original Broadway cast.

Who knows….maybe Gruesome will go straight and become a star of stage and screen…….?

So, A. A. Stone is a fan of “Christopher’s” acting. Interesting.

I thought I would have a little fun today. Here are two images from famous comics. What famous film and novel do they make you think of?

Good morning all. VB – hope you tossed another log on the fire this morning.
Seems to me A. A Stone complimented Gruesome’s talent, not commented on his appearance. He may be looking to her for an ally or alibi.
