I doubt that. It's non-figurative purely decorative garbage. I refuse to express myself in such a shallow and derivative style...
I don’t think that critique applies to all nonfigurative art, but the cartoonists were expressing their impression of some of the worst of that genre. Otherwise get a camera and study Ansel Adams.
The adult speaker is talking about his four-year-old, who is not present. The child in the carriage is not who the adult refers to. The child and the adult female may not even be with the adult male.
