What goes around, comes around. Or, “What goes up, must come down.” More likely, after serving rain soaked Mac & Cheese, it’s What goes down, must come up. It will be interesting for the next few days. Good to see Corky
The GOP will tell us that feeding the homeless and needy are only “enabling” them and that they should be left to fend for themselves. Better to give a tax break to a millionaire than to feed the poor. Thank you Paul Ryan
During the “Great Depression”, my grandmother used to feed hobos coming to her kitchen door. She’d point to the woodpile and axe. She still cooked on a wood stove. While they split billets and filled the box by the stove she fixed up a hearty hot meal for them.
My mom was a little afraid of the men coming to the door when she was the only adult and only woman there so far out in the country, so she would give them a can of raviolis and point out where the stream was on the property where they would heat it up over a campfire.

There’s a certain irony in the fact that the Homeless Club refused the mac and cheese and now they are going to eat it anyway.
