I love these series of strips where Snoopy is completely confident but actually has no idea what he’s doing.

@Kim MetzgerSnoopy ended up taking a side trip to Kansas City that arc, baffled that there WASN’T an ocean nearby. (Kansas City, of course, is home to yours truly. Also I hear that some kind of comics company or other might live nearby……)@coreym5Snoopy probably had more confidence than anybody this side of Superman, but almost NEVER knew what he was doing. How he lived through his adventures required grit, determination, and an incredible amount of sheer luck……

I hope he’s pointed in the right direction and it’s the correct ocean.

A REAL Beagle would stand at the edge of the water and bay until he either grew hoarse, or something happened that allowed him to continue, or something happened to injure him.

Well, Snoopy, you did tell us that it was a long way to go.

He’s already made it to the ocean from the Twin Cities? I’d say that’s remarkable progress.
