Yeah, did we ever get the story on Rover’s “First Family”?

I think he was a stray when he saved Red, but from where?

You’ve got it right, Rover! No one should ever mistreat his/her dog… ever … ;)

My first owner mistreated me and then I wound up in a shelter for a long time. And then this really nice man and woman came and got me out and my life has been great ever since. I love them very much and they love me.

If you want a friend for life go rescue one from a shelter or the pound. You and they will both be glad you did.

We have a “recycled” little friend (see avatar). I wonder about her “previous life”. She’s afraid of the usual things – thunder & the “Hoover”. But the puzzling thing is…if we light a fire in the fireplace, she runs upstairs to bed. Makes me wonder.
