I always put my keys in the refrigerator. They sit on or in my lunchbag, so I do not forget to bring my lunch and have to pay $7 at the cafeteria. The cold has not harmed to microchip inside (been doing this for 4 years).
I once lost my sugar bowl. Found it in the refrigerator. I didn’t know what to do or who to call at that point, so I’ve just been living with whatever mental disorder I have since. So far so good. The odd thing is I’ve since switched to pure sucrolose, which I dissolve in water rather than pay obscene amounts for those bags of mostly maltodextrin filler, and now that bowl gets stored in the refrigerator.

What I’ve heard is that forgetting where your keys are is not a bad sign. Forgetting what your keys are, is.
