    I say, Master Sedgwick, do you really allow your Gentleman’s Gentleman to recreate even as you pop away at him? How generous of you. And how droll that said servant should “feel a bit diffident” at his public appearance, as though it mattered! Classes and masses, you know! Pip pip!

    That episode of WKRP In Cincinnati was the funniest moment in the history of TV. I laughed ’til I cried. My sides hurt. Barney Miller came on after WKRP . . . a great hour of television the likes of which has not been seen since.

    WKRP – I can still see those turkeys being set free over the parking lot. And falling. …. I know. the show never actually showed any turkeys – but that’s the joy of a well written episode with good delivery. ….. the memory still brings a smile.
