no, they went back to the past, this story is from 1948, they should have gone at least until the last Cerrano story, from the building of the bridge we go to the “after the bridge” http://www.erbzine.com/mag46/4651.html and the last Serrano strip being 8856 or about year and the half later

Does this mean they won’t be doing the Russ Manning strips?

Looks like there will be a lot of casual cigarette smoking depicted in this era.

Does the young lady in the first panel have a prosthetic arm, like the constable in “Son of Frankenstein”? Notice how she’s holding the pack of smokes in her right hand, but apparently using her left hand to move her right hand around. Game of darts, anybody?

So much for the secrecy of the note that the author probably wanted.

The small salon; that’s really specific. The next 12 frames will be devoted to Tarzan locating it.

Tarzan’s hair looks very greasy today……Louisiana Bayou Rancid Bear Grease I presume….UGH! Plus that not-so-mysterious note should have been signed “LETHAL”! :)> TheGameIsAlmostAfootAGowa!!
