I predict: Eventually all the old people will die and younger people will embrace Libertarianism, and it will subsume the Republicans. Consumerism will replace patriotism, as the proliferation of personal comfort and entertainments become more important than communities, especially mixed communities. Corporations will form what was formerly democratically made public policy, and in return will sponsor what were previously public works. And if you don’t like it, there won’t be anywhere to go where things are different: Globalization will conquer all.
