    Here in north Georgia, I define cold as “below 53 Fahrenheit.” Fortunately we usually have only six weeks each year fitting that definition.

    jbmlaw: How do those north Georgian ski operations stay in business on six week activity per year? I know they use artificial snow, but something must keep it frozen.
