Eno: Hold'm back, defense! Fang: come on, offense! Get a touch down! Eno: What is that? Fang: A can of off.
Bet they’re not cheering for the New York Jets.
expired milk would suffice
there’s a joke there somewhere
Not being a football fan, I’m totally confused by this whole strip! Are those things little picket fences they’re holding up???
And, why are they holding up little picket fences?
StelBel, if you get a chance to see crowds at games, there maybe some who carry a “D” and a fence. Put them up together and they symbolize “defence.” Fang is putting a new twist on that theme with a can of “Off”, thus “Offence”
thanks for everything, now I can go back to sleep
Now that it’s explained…..boy! Do I feel dumb!!
Thank you, shellusa and GROG! !!! I appreciate you both for explaining without sarcasm!
So, now…..to StelBel:
My 6 month old great grandson knows about fence’s…
RAIDers of the lost art!
I think StelBel needs a cuddle…Feeling better now?
Oh, good one today.
“Off”?/ Some sort of sports reference? Treating the “opposing” team as if it were inset pests?
Sports people are odd.
