How long will Janis stew about the mess in the kitchen?

I’m a clean-as-you-go cook, and my husband is a mess-up-every-pan/utensil-in-the-kitchen-and-hope-the-elves-clean-up cook. He’s not allowed to do it very often.

It’s all a ruse so she can sample a few more spoonfuls while she cleans.

My wife cooks, I clean up…..best arrangement!

It’s her griping that’s non-negotiable. BTW, griping is an equal-gender opportunity (or words to that effect). My mother-in-law was a griper. I suspect that her dad was, too. He was depressive, and her mom was cheerful. My husband is a master griper. You can see the gripey thing sifting down through the generations, lightly tapping male and female alike.

John Smith: So that is what is on that extra part of the second X. I thought it was just the antidotes to things like hemophilia and male pattern baldness.

As a newly wed, I said I’d cook if she’d clean…after only one or two meals, she decided to cook as well as clean!!
